ATELIER HITOSHI ABE: LEN-TIC-U-LAR-IS, AN EXHIBITION DISCUSSION
Len-tic-u-lar-is, a brand brand new muster by Los Angeles as well as Sendai-based pattern organisation Atelier Hitoshi Abe (AHA), will be upon perspective from Jul thirty to Sep 12, 2010, in a SCI-Arc Gallery during a Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). The initial architectural theme which AHA will plunge into in Los Angeles is a pattern of a brand brand new large-scale roof tiles over a Japanese American Cultural & Community Center (JACCC) Plaza, written by Isamu Noguchi. For this plaza, Noguchi combined a unaccompanied landscape desirous by a Zen grassed area which isolates itself from a surrounding townscape.
